I believe Most of roller wheels made of polyurethane !

so what is the maximum allowable temperature interval of whells usage… does it become brittle under 0°C or what ?
    I found

… operating temperatures of goods made of polyurethane are in the range from -70°C to +120°, elasticity in this case does not change practically…

hmm but with reference to roller wheels ?
    -70°C to +120° 😆 I hope it’s out of our earth weather

ps – reason for question was another question ➡ do you skate ‘outdoor’ during winter ? 😀

the second part of my joke means :
that from Orange (a town in the South of France), you are not afraid to ride in winter, because the weather in South is enough warm to go outside in winter. And the South begins at Orange.

though I’m more afraid of slush, puddles, snow and ice-covered ground then of « – » lol

The lower the temps, the more slippery for your wheels, with less rebond.
For the lowest temp I skated, it was around -5 like Tomette. Temps are not very low around Paris during daytime.
South of Orange you have very often strong winds, like Mistral, that can be really a pain for skating (between 6 and 8 on Beaufort scale).
When I was a teen, for rollerskating on ice, I put staples and it worked ….
