    Insanely NICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I have a question for you : how did you mount the plates ? Are there bolts in the outsole or did you drill some holes like you did for your basketball pair ?

    Thanks 😀 !
I used the normal 4 mm bolts that you recommend and we basically mounted them as recommended on your site.
But we used the nuts that came with the Boens (and some Loctite to be on the safe side). A part of the nuts sits in the holes in the plate, too (the holes in the plate are 5mm), so the part that sticks out under the plate is very flat – good for my 70mm wheels.

This time somebody who is well able to mount quads drilled all the holes and we mounted them together .
Bont shoes normally come with 5mm bolts and nuts, like these

but mine didn’t (I got them off Ebay).

Amazing. You should be so happy to have them. And what about the comfort ?

I am, believe me!! I’ve had all the parts for months & have only had time to go to see the person who mounted them last weekend.

Weeell, to be honest, unlike everyone else who loves their Bonts from the start I still find my basketball skates more comfortable at the moment 😳 – especially on rough roads. I’m waiting for my mail-ordered better insoles to arrive.

You need a floor smooth as silk, like an indoor skate ring or the marble floor of an old building 🙂

Well, the guy who mounted my skates with me lives in the country, so that’s where I got to try out my skates first, and apparently the farmers had just put fresh dung/fertilizer on their fields. 🙂
